Shin Shou Optical Automation Co., Ltd. (“we”) respects your privacy and collects, processes and uses personal data in accordance with Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act. This policy explains how this website handles the information you provide.

1. Purposes

To reply to your inquiries and free-assessment requests, provide quotations and technical services, manage customer relationships and follow-up contact, and analyze website traffic.

2. Data we collect

Information you enter in the free-assessment form: company name, contact name, email, phone number, industry, throughput requirements and project description. When you browse the site with analytics enabled, Google Analytics collects anonymous usage information such as pages viewed, device type and approximate country or region.

3. Period, location, recipients and method

• Period: kept for as long as the purposes above require, and deleted when they end or when you ask us to, unless the law requires otherwise.
• Location: Taiwan, and the locations of the servers of the service providers listed below.
• Recipients: our company and service providers that process data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties for their marketing.
• Method: we contact you by email, phone or in writing, and store data electronically.

4. Third-party services

• Form delivery: the free-assessment form is sent to our inbox by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which also sends a confirmation email to the address you enter.
• Analytics: the Traditional Chinese, Japanese and English versions of this site use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to collect anonymous statistics. On the English version, analytics only starts after you click “Accept”. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Simplified Chinese version does not use Google Analytics.

5. Your rights

You may ask us to let you review your personal data or obtain a copy, to supplement or correct it, to stop collecting, processing or using it, or to delete it. Providing personal data is voluntary; without the required fields we cannot reply to your assessment request.
